Sébastien Tellier - Kilometer
You know that song that you love, you give 5 stars and listen to over and over? Amazing remixes come pouring out and the song just keeps getting better and better. For me, this song is Sébastien Tellier’s Kilometer off of his LP, Sexuality. For the past few months everybody under the sun has produced and released terrific remixes to the blogging world, and I’m still not over it. A-Track dropped probably the best mix of it to date last week and again, I can’t get enough.

Sam Sparro
These are the 2 tracks that stood out most off of Sam Sparro’s debut album, Sam Sparro, which just recently leaked. 21st Century LifE seems like an excellent candidate for an Apple commercial. Just sayin’. Hot Mess seems like a tribute to our favorite Miss Britney Spears, also excellent. Start off with 21st Century Life and Hot Mess. If you like them, pick up his album when it drops. I know I just used this picture. Sorry. So it seems as though Sam Sparro is going to be a new obsession for me, and for the world. He just covered Estelle’s American Boy on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, and it has to be the hottest cover I have ever heard. In all seriousness. He is so talented, and I am very excited that his talent isn’t being wasted on pop-garbage. His first single Black & Gold is a refreshing masterpiece, and his BBC cover leaves me speechless. Enjoy.

I haven’t fallen in love with a song this quickly before; I put it on my iPod last night, and this morning I was hooked first listen. I’m so glad to hear great beats mixed with a guy who can actually sing! It’s excellent all over. Check out the original, and Phone’s re-edit. Both EXCELLENT. Enjoy.
