Here it is! Jacques Lu Cont is just whats missing from new-Madonna. Jacques Lu Cont (aka, Stuart Price) produced Madonna’s Confessions, and he puts his magic to work on her new single 4 Minutes. The best remix I’ve heard by far… probably because it reminds me of the good old Hung Up days. Enjoy.

I know I’m using this picture twice, but whatever it’s fierce. Here is a new version/remix of 4 Minutes; Timbaland’s remix. I am grateful to find this one because the original just didn’t cut if for me. It’s a solid song, just not good enough for the Madonna, Justin and Timbaland team. Here’s Timbaland’s rework of the song, and it’s just plain original Timbaland goodness. Enjoy it!

Mixtapes in the house.

Here are a few mixtapes that I’ve received recently. The first is The Beeb Blog’s Early Decembuurr Mix which features new music from the likes of Booka Shade, Dizzee Rascal, Green Velvet, Daft Punk, Robyn, Mr. Oizo and more. The second is the Dalcy’s Henceforth Mixtape by DJ Jon Dalcy, and it’s excellent. Definitely a must download, even just for the With Every Heartbeat/We Are Your Friends/Miscommunication at the beginning and the Destination Calabria/Sweet Dreams near the end. Very good. The third and final mix for today is AJ Khan’s Last Call 2007. It’s a 1:16:00 mix of dance mixes from the likes of Rihanna, Mark Ronson, Kanye West, Timbaland, Armand Van Helden and others. It’s pretty chill.

Nite Runner (Ryan Bird Remix) (Feat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland) – Duran Duran

Duran Duran is back with a great track featuring none-other than Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. I must admit that Nite Runner took a lot of getting used to, but I have to say that I love it. This remix is a harder, trippy version of the original. It still features the same 80s elements of the original, but adds a pounding baseline and some hard, even-rocky synths. I love it. Plus it gets kinda glitchy at some points. You’ll love it too.

I’m not going to lie, I’ve never been the biggest mash-up fan, but this one is too great to resist. The Way I Are versus that 90s song there, Better Off Alone. It’s so much fun, and the originals are so addictive it’s hard not to love this mash-up. Thanks to Chris who sent it to meeee.
